As a few previous posts have mentioned Northwood's Colligate DECA chapter is going to national competition in Orlando. Students have to pay their own way to attend this trip. It is almost a common fact that college students are pretty broke and any extra expenses are always hard on our checking accounts. To help ease the financial burdens of going to competition our chapter hosted a car wash today.

A local fast food restaurant Chicken Express allowed us to use their parking lot and water supply to host our car wash. We had a lot of fun in today's beautiful weather washing cars. We actually made a pretty good profit as well. Along with the car wash we are also selling Sweet Tea Cards, a 10 sweet teas for $5. Hopefully we will have one more fundraising opportunity before we leave for Orlando on April 12. We try and make each fundraising effort worth while and we always tend to have a little fun while we do it!
